~READ BEFORE STARTING~ Just a heads up that this will take close to 20 minutes :) Hello! I'm back with dance help projects because I've learned some tricks that really help when it comes to mastering your splits. While it's not only awesome to show off, splits can really help multiple areas of dance. Follow along with my voice and the google images to stretch into your splits! If you want to do it alone, here is what I will be doing: 45 seconds each- ~Dancer's Lunge ~Hamstring stretch back ~Pigeon ~Calypso pose ~Frog ~Squat ~Dancer Lunge 2 minutes of not quite splitting with arm pushups to gently deepen it quick runs in place to stretch out legs 45 seconds each- ~Dancer's Lunge ~Hamstring stretch back ~Pigeon ~Calypso pose ~Frog ~Squat ~Dancer Lunge 4-5 minutes of either full splits or sitting out of it in a splits straddle Stand up and try to fall into it! Recommended song lengths/songs I used: 5:30 (Still Hurting, the Last 5 Years) 2:30 (Don't Make Me, MALINDA) 5:30 (I Don't Need Your Love, Six) 5:00 (Revenge Party, Mean Girls) **This will probably not help for the first time if you aren't close. Consist practice is the only way to get your splits, but this will help**
