They have summoned all the beasts from the world to help them rise to power. You, a young apprentice named Ernie, must stop them, before they destroy the world. You are on a quest. To save the world. Travel to each of the four elemental realms and defeat enemies there. As you defeat more and more beasts, harder and stronger beasts will start to appear. Defeat the boss of each element to capture the crystal. Once you have collected all of the crystals, you can unite them in the sacred castle to summon the elements, which have united to form a giant elemental boss, and challenge it to a battle.
