"Amberpaw!" A voice woke Amberpaw from her sleep she looked over next to her. The bed next to Amberpaw was empty 'Oh no i overslept!' "Coming!" She raced out of the apprentice's den and stopped at Shardstar's paws. He looked at her and meowed "Want to do a border patrol around ThunderClans borders?" He looked at me so i looked back into his deep green eyes "Of course!" i responded excitedly. * As we walked back into the camp Shardstar jumped onto the high-stone and yowled "Time to pick warriors and apprentices for the Gathering tonight!" As warriors gathered he stated the names that where going tonight "Grassyfoot, Amberpaw, Owlpaw, Shiningfrost, Dapplewater, Alderpaw, Winterpelt, Deershine, and Silverheart will go. Those cats get some rest!" As he said this he jumped from the high-stone and walked to his den, followed by Deershine- his mate to get rest. * "Our first gathering!!" I whispered excitedly at Owlpaw and looked at my mother, who was giving us a somber look. "I do wonder why Lightpaw didn't come.." Owlpaw whispered back. "Prey is running well in WindClan, and greenleaf has blessed us with two more kits! Runningkit, and Gorsekit." Moorstar nodded to Tidestar for her to begin "Prey is running- or should i say swimming in our clan" She passed on her statement to Shadestar "Prey is plentiful in ShadowClan.." He stood silent, mysterious. As Shardstar started Tidestar interrupted her and said "I believe a apprentice in your clan goes to us now.." She glared at Shardstar "You have delayed to long... your half-clan kit you allowed to give up.." as she said this Grassyfoot gave a alarmed look at Tidestar and i caught her murmur "So soon?" I look at Owlpaw in alarm "Us?" My voice was almost a whisper in horror as i turn my head i see Shardstar nod. "Alright, Owlpaw! Come forth" I stare at Shardstar in disbelief as Owlpaw nervously step forwards "You will live with your father, Riverrunner in Riverclan- and as i was going to say.." I couldn't hear the rest as i was frozen with shock in what just happened as the Gathering ended i rush over to Owlpaw, "Please, sneak with me back to ThunderClan" Pleading shone in my gaze, but Iceshard comes over and leads Owlpaw away, as he does Owlpaw gives me the saddest look my head and tail drooping i walk slowly to my clan Grassyfoot rush's over "Im sorry Amberpaw..." Her voice is thick with grief "Its ok.." I mumble as i hurry on, back to camp.
