Day 19: The weather today was absolutely perfect, like the cold front yesterday didn’t even happen yesterday. Cabin wars were getting more serious and cooler. I even saw some people from dystopian setting up a huge catapult with a huge water balloon aiming at a cabin (though I didn’t know which one). Some cabins had even teamed together against common enemies. It was super exciting, especially when we all got to sneak inside a air duct and jump scare some people from Adventure. All in all, it was a fun evening. “Hey.” I said as I walked with Low, Mango and Star. “Wanna hit the library before we head back? It’s open till 7:00pm.” They agreed, and we sprinted to the library. We all headed to the fictional section except Low, who suddenly stopped in realization. “Guys!” She whisper yelled. We walked over to her. “I just realized, THERE ARE BOOKS HERE THAT TALK ABOUT THE CAMP!” We all looked puzzled. “There are?” I said. “It’s worth a shot to find it. We can find out about the attic, and the old lady, and the camp!” We all now we’re excited. It was like being in a book itself! But it didn’t work. It was almost seven, and we didn’t find anything. Not even Ms. Hannah the librarian knew anything. Dejected, we all decided to go back, until Mango spotted a thick, dusty novel with the word, Entrance. Intrigued, we pulled and- Star gasped. The whole bookcase swung open to reveal a dusty room, filled with dusty books. We entered, carrying a candle with us. The room was very dark. I was about to take a book with me when- “Sweeties! Library’s closed now!” We stared at each other desperately. We were so close! “We’ll come back.” I promised. They nodded and we all headed back together, closing the bookcase door. The secrets of the camp lied in that room for sure.
