Hello everybody, you should probably know already that scratch has become a toxic wasteland filled with toxic waste, (toxic waste=toxic people, no offense tho). Scratch was supposed to be a place for scratchers to code, talk, and look at funny and cool games, now look at scratch now, people are clout chasing using the cyclops square platformer games, just to be famous, but on scratch, we shouldn't care about the fame, we should care about having fun. Right now, the average clout chasing platform has about 20,000 views or more, and you know how many views other people get for doing something original, like 10-100 views. Just searching up "platformer" on scratch could get the person thousands of views, for just remixing a project and only changing colors of something is getting people thousands of views for no effort put into their projects, and what's even worse is that someone remixes something and gets even more views and likes that the normal project has. My friend @codecrafter1234 left because of this. Ads and spam are also a cause of scratch being a toxic wasteland. Ads are all over peoples profiles who don't want it there, I have to monitor griffpatch's profile everyday telling people "don't advertise" or "stop spamming", and you know who listens to me, two people, that's it, two people listen to me, then a day later, they're advertising again. The people also asking for f4f or asking griffpatch to follow them on griffpatch's profile, I'm sorry to rain on your parade, but he won't follow on request. The T-rex spam is also bad, @Rae-tv almost left because of this. You know who also left, @Goldy675, because people spamming on her profile f4f. @TheInternetIsCool was almost perm banned, @-Boy-mc-Boy also got banned for some random reason, so was airanimations. Also, the "followers page" is making this happen. Ever since 2.0 has been gone, and the friends page got turned into the followers page, people have been going crazy over people following them, people saying "plz follow me needs follows follow me right now" almost left as well, he is a high quality scratcher that doesn't get noticed, but all these cyclop square platformers get posted and get thousands of likes? not fair. Since early 2020, scratch started becoming infested with clout chasers and toxic people, 2019, everyone was having fun and coding on scratch and giving people positive feedback and not doing ads or f4f or spamming, but take a look at scratch now, has anything changed? Everything has changed, I get in 2 arguments everyday,2x5 is 10, I get into 10 arguments each week for nonsense. Gender Discrimination: I see a lot of this. There are a lot of groups that support LGBTQ+. I support it as well. But some toxic people that I've seen go on the supporting groups and go "I don't like LGBTQ+". That is a big problem, WHY ARE YOU BEING MEAN TO THEM, THEY'RE HUMAN, THEY AREN'T DIFFERENT, EVERYONE IS THE SAME, SO THEIR IS NO REASON TO BE MEAN TO THEM. So whoever is being mean to them, please stop, they don't like it. Disrespect: Disrespect, it's ridiculous. Some people just like dissing people for no absolute reason. One time, me and my friend, , was being bullied by some rude people because of some MAP. It's ridiculous. I had to join the conversation cause I had to protect him. Then me and him were bullied. They created a studio called "The Anti-Fake Army". Him and I were both targeted by him, they also made a project disrespecting us. I'm sure was taken down by now. "SUS" The name of the map, by , had to step into the conversation. It was over a part none of us were going to get get anyway. The bully was blackmailing codecrafter1234. He said "nope nope nope among us only u 8yr old". Once Wormotron came in, he started saying "I was giving him tips and how he could improve". Is that blackmail? Yes, it is. Spam: Its really annoying. Troll face spam, Dino spam, hello spam. Its really annoying. Griffpatch probably gets these 100 times a day. please stop it. People are really annoyed by this. So please, help improve scratch.
