USE TURBO MODE every day the ice cream stand owners move their stand in a direction people at the beach go to the closest ice cream stand. the stands only use the previous day's sales, today's sales, and the direction they moved the previous day to make the choice on which direction to move in short, they move to where they get more profit from the day before the ice cream stands start equal dist from the center. they tend to move to the center and meet, because if they move away from the center they will allow their adversary to gain more profit, so they get stuck in a nash equilibrium ^this is completely emergent behavior, the programming does not incentivize them to move together in any way in fact, the icecream stands don't even know where the other icecream stand is, it is almost blind (except to their # of sales) (it can take a while to have them go to the center) there's also a grapher on the ocean so u can see how the position of the stands change over time
