I really didn't know how to use ibisPaint back then, and I'm still discovering features now. I think I improved a lot within 2 years! Back then, I wasn't as good at proportions, and I still have a lot to improve. It was my first time using a digital program, and you can see that the lineart is really sloppy. I have an apple pencil now, but I still often draw with my finger. I think my lineart has improved a lot. Another thing that changed significantly is the kinds of palettes I like to use. In the redraw I changed the colors to be warmer, and the color of her hair to be much lighter. The character was actually supposed to originally have a really light hair color, but ended up having blue hair, because I wasn't really good at shading. Now I do a much more simplified shading, but it looks a lot cleaner. The last thing that I think changed a lot was how I draw eyes. Back then I drew them a lot bigger, but now I think they're a much more reasonable size.
