Maypel The Iron Twig Pokémon A Steel and Grass type Maypel resemble shiny saplings. Their bark can be as strong as steel, or soft as cotton, depending on the Maypel’s current safety. Maypel spends most of its day wandering around, exploring nearby areas in search of nutrient-packed soil, clean water, and bountiful sunlight. Moves: Leech Seed, Iron Branch (Iron Tail, but for plants), Leafage, Razor Leaf, Iron Bark (Reduces damage), Root (makes electric type attacks deal no damage, heals the Pokémon, and makes them unable to move), Tackle, Baby-Doll Eyes Borch The Smelter’s Tree Pokémon A Steel, Fire, and Grass type Borch resembles a very muscular, young tree. They enjoy flexing and showing off to Maypel, Sudowudo, and Bonsly. Their bark is sometimes said to resemble a forge’s flame. Borch’s bark is also heat absorbent, and blacksmiths would have Borch as partners to help handle hot metal. Borch’s bark is very smooth and tough. Moves: Leech Seed, Iron Branch, Leafage, Razor Leaf, Iron Bark, Root, Tackle, Heavy Slam, Flamethrower, Ember, Fire Punch, Wood Hammer Elmar The Haunted Ironwood Pokémon A Ghost, Steel, and Grass type When a Borch evolves, a nearby spirit is pulled into its bark. This absorption allows the Borch to become Elmar. Elmar are not as evil as their looks make them out to be, they are actually quite caring. When it comes to battles, though, they are ruthless and unforgiving. They utilize the spirit trapped inside them to use a motley assortment of Ghost type attacks. Moves: Leech Seed, Iron Branch, Leafage, Razor Leaf, Iron Bark, Root, Tackle, Heavy Slam, Scary Face, Shadow Ball, Wood Hammer, Shadow Claw, Haunting Leaf (a move that cuts an opponent’s HP max in half, but deals massive damage to Elmar)
