[ edit: wow why is this so popular? xD im getting like 20+ messages an hour. anyways im really busy atm so im probably not gonna respond to your comments so sorrry :< but tysm for 100+ vıews and im so glad so many people can agree/relate to me :D edit: 400+ veiws and 100+ likes gosh. i expected this to die for good but its popular again thanks! :) ] (also maybe consider entering my dmc: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/507722095/ ) hey yall! so today i have a little rant. this is about the sexist dress code. you might disagree with me and thats okay, just please do not send any hate! ^^ okay, so it might just be me but i feel like my schools dress code is very sexist. i don't think i have ever seen a boy get dress coded, girls on the other hand... yeah, you get where im going here. it feels like the dress code is a lot stricter on girls than it is on boys. heres an example, the other day my friend wore shorts to school and got dress coded. however, my friend and I were talking to a boy earlier that day and his shorts were much shorter than hers, and yet he did not get dress coded. one of the teachers even complimented his shorts! idk about you but I find that pretty sexist. this is not the only ways i have found the dress code sexist. for example they put many more rules on girls than they do on boys like it feels like girls have all these strict rules and the only requirements for boys is that they just wear clothes. I think thats a bit unfair. and boys have broken the dress code so many times, but not once have i seen one get dress coded. not once also how come boys can wear leggings but girls can't? same goes for jeans. and short shorts. and so many other things. its just so unfair and sexist to me. it's like the dress code is aiming towards getting girls in trouble. dont teach girls to dress "less sexy" teach boys not to get distracted by it alright thats all i need to say. this is a bit lazy. alright bye! <3
