I'll add the thumbn later xD NOTE: Some of the explanation is altered in the way that the cats believe it to be, not what it actually is, to keep the lore and suspension --- I haven't really given you guys any explanation on the society and that's because when I first started DS I had no idea where the story would go and honestly thought that it'd die with all my other stories, due to disinterest or me not having fun making chapters. Anyway here's a few things about the society, lore, and other stuff :P Society: The society is where the cats live. There is a ruler, Hazel, who founded the society as a safe place for all cats to live. (Or so she says she did.) Here, cats live by rules and abide by them as well. Any cat that breaks the rules or annoys Hazel in any way becomes a clone. This is a huge shame, and the cats family might be shunned or ignored by the others. They live in a series of tunnels, and rooms branch off from the sides. If a room is in ruin then the door will be disguised as a wall, however the cats can still go through it. Rooms: Rooms are the housing of the society. You do not have to be related in any way (including mates, you do not have to be mates) to another cat that you live with. It's sort of like collage dorms. Clones: A clone is a select cat that has broken rules or annoyed Hazel in any way. They serve as a servant and are to act like they are nothing but a robot, doing whatever a cat orders them to. Clones are often hidden and do not associate themselves with the day to day lives of the other cats. They can be identified by their expression, which is emotionless, and small swirls in their eyes. Lore/Backstory: Two sisters, Amber and Hazel, founded the society to make a safe place for all cats. With the help of their close friend Apple, they made the tunnels, rules, etc. They reached at a disagreement, however, when deciding what to do about cats who brake the rules. Amber believed that they should be more stern, but reward good behavior so that the bad behavior will be less strived for. Hazel believed that they should do the clone method. Perhaps it was the disagreement, or the fact that Amber and Apple were mates and had a tiny kitten, or just the thrill of leadership, that Hazel banished Amber. Apple disappeared a few months later, leaving their son. Not much is known about his disappearance. The Council: The Council is a group of cats lead by Hazel to conduct trials of cats who have annoyed her or broken rules. The final decision is based on a private vote, but sometimes The Council stays quiet and lets Hazel do most of it. Feel free to ask anything in the comments!
