(For right now) Him Chapter One I received a text from my aunt, who was my legal guardian, during lunch, that read, ‘Hey Lily, is it true that you punched a kid today?’ I was forced to reply with a simple ‘yes,’ you see, I have a bit of a violent streak. I was constantly getting in fights, it was a miracle if I didn’t have a black eye for more than forty-eight hours, which didn’t match my innocent little girl look. I constantly got bullied by a group of seniors, and I decided I was sick of it, so I went up to their ring-leader, Jason, during our home room and punched him, may or may not have broken his nose, not sure. The bell rang right after and I walked out of the classroom like nothing had happened. While I was walking to my lunch, my best friend, Kyle Timber, came up to me, “Did you really punch Jason?!” He sounded half amazed and half worried, a usual combination when talking to me. He was much more innocent then I was. “Yeah, I did” I stretched as we walked, “it actually felt pretty good” “Are you actually a complete moron?!” He replied under his breath, “I thought you said the principal said, ‘one more fight and your going to be expelled’!” Kyle was always worried about everyone other than him, he could care less if he was beat up to the point of a hospital stay, but if someone else so much as tripped, he’d be worried and asking if they needed ice or something. “Yeah, I did.” I repeated, nodding, “and honestly I don’t care! He deserved it,” I looked at the ceiling, “he definitely deserved it.” Kyle leaned against the cafeteria doors, opening them, “you’re actually crazy...you know that right?” He deadpanned, “one day, you’re going to regret being so violent”
