Lyrics: Lola, tell us a story! Lola's got a story she wants to share with you! Lola Dinky Doo! Never at a loss of words she pulls out of the blue! Lola Dinky Doo! Her bigger brother Charlie, always every way! Lola Sonner's always thinking big... Yes-a-rooney! Poss-a-tooney! Zip, zam, zoom! Lola Dinky Doo! In a great big apartment on Crocodile Street, Lola makes up stories, with fancy words, too. She's always acting silly, and you'll often hear her say... Lola: Now, that's something you don't see everyday! Bigger brother Charlie, always every way! Lola Sonner's always thinking big... Yes-a-rooney! Poss-a-tooney! Zip, zam, zoom! Lola: Phew. (Charlie and Lola both laugh) Lola Dinky Doo! (SPLAT!) The original Pinky Dinky Doo intro is here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Hz_nK0Z9KBI
Lola Dinky Doo (also known in the UK as Charlie and Lola's Storybox Adventures) is a British/American animated comedy preschool television series based on the Charlie and Lola book series created by Lauren Child and Jim Jinkins' animated preschool show Pinky Dinky Doo. Produced by Tiger Aspect Productions in association with Cartoon Pizza and Sesame Workshop, and premiered in the United Kingdom on CBeebies on February 7th, 2007 and the United States on the Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney/Disney Junior preschool morning block on February 22nd that same year, the show serves as a spinoff/sequel series to the Charlie and Lola TV series which ran on CBeebies from October 2005 to July 2008. The show was originally called Charlie and Lola's Storybox Adventures in the United Kingdom and Australia. Lola Dinky Doo ran for 2 seasons and 80 episodes (the first season had 26 episodes, while the second season had 54 episodes) and ended on April 27th 2011 (May 20th in the United States). Luckily, the original Charlie and Lola TV series also had 80 episodes; however, it had 3 seasons rather than just two.
