Nabbit's Treasure Hunt! is a Mario Fan Game that is similar to the platforming of every average 2d mario game. The only difference is the premise and playing as the (sort of) mysterious thief, Nabbit. Nabbit has a few changes however. Nabbit has the higher jump of Luigi, the speed of Toad, and the float-iness of Peach by using his sack (which is empty in the game.) as a parachute. The premise is sort of as simple as any mario game. Nabbit wants to become the Master of Treasure by collecting the 5 Sacred Treasures before the Dastardly Sir Pent, who wants to use it's secret reality bending magic to strip all humanity of it's limbs, due to being sick of snakes being made fun of due to their lack of limbs. You only have to explore 6 worlds. Nabbing Grasslands. Nightmare Forest. Nautical Island. Nauseous Mountaintops. Noble Skies. Negative Fortress. While the first five words can be completed in any order, the sixth and final world is only unlocked once you complete all the worlds and have collected all 5 Sacred Treasures. I won't spoil the bosses. Besides Sir Pent, since he is the final boss. The game's design philosophy is based on friends, family, and emotion. This is proven with the ending being Nabbit being forced to give up all his treasure by signing a contract Sir Pent made. However, the contract backfires, as the contract won't work if Nabbit had made friends, because friends are the best treasure anyone could have. So, the contract faIls and Sir Pent is typically defeated. (However in the 100% ending, it is revealed Sir Pent had made a plan b by making a robotic copy of Nabbit made from nanobots called Nano-Nabb.) The main collectable is Treasure Bolts, which act like the gems from crash bandicoot. In order to get all of these Treasure Bolts, you need to collect at least 80% of the coins in a level, and beat the level without dying, giving the player a reason to collect the coins and not die in the level. That's kinda all. It as a sorta simple premise, a reason to collect the coins, and to beat the game without dying.
