The drive to the forest took longer then we thought, and i could tell that aarron was starting to fall asleep behind the wheel. i still had no idea why we brought a map with us, i have a cell phone right here. But, nonetheless, we arrived, and were happy that the girls hadn't gotten lost behind us. Riley and Sammy were the most awake out of everyone there, but apparently they had slept the whole time. must have been boring for Lucy and Lilly, but i think they managed. "Where's the trail?" I looked over at Lucy. "There is none, we get to make our own." I replied. "Percy! we're just expected to know our way back to the cars after a week?!" She yelled at me. "We don't even have Wifi!" I was about to respond, but Jackson chimed in before i did. "That's why we have a map, to mark our way back." At least now i know why we have a map. i thought. Lucy sighed, obviously wanting to argue, but deciding that it was too dark already, and wanted to sleep. I was pretty tired too, but i could stay awake. We started to unpack the cars, and headed into the forest, a little excited to find where we could set up camp for the next week. {read the bottom} "What was that?" Cole asked. "Maybe it was a ghost~" Jackson said jokingly, knowing fully well that Cole was scared of ghosts. "It was just the wind guys." Aarron seemed very calm. We continued walking forward. "Ooh, what's that up ahead?" Riley asked. "I think it's a clearing." I said in response. Sammy hadn't talked at all. i wonder slightly in the back of my mind as to why. "This seems like a perfect place to set up camp." I snap back to reality at the sound of Aarron's voice, and nodded in agreement. We started to set up the tents, we brought enough for pairs to sleep in them. Jackson and Cole were the first ones to finish putting theirs up, and they went inside and went to sleep instantly. Me and Aarron finished next, along with Lucy and Riley. Sammy and Lilly finished a little after us, and went inside of theirs. Aarron crawled into the tent, but i stayed up. i'd had the feeling something was watching us since we first got out of our cars, and i still couldn't shake the feeling. i heard the bushes rustle a bit, and looked over, to see a bunny hopping out of them. "How long have you been following us little guy?" I asked, not expecting a response. {Read bottom from where you left off}
Who are these people? i thought, watching them from the bushes. Humans hadn't come here in a long time, at least according to my grand-bunny, but he's an old geezer. what does he know, he hasn't left the burrow in years. i watched the humans walk into the forest, one of them seemed upset about something, but i didn't pay much attention to that. i hopped along the bushes, following their trail. "I wonder what George is doing?" i ponder aloud {Go back to top} I knew i had been caught when he instantly looked over at where i was moving. how could i, Tim, have let this happen? what did my grand-bunny always say? "Humans find us bunnies cute, and most will not harm us, if you're ever caught, try to see if the human thinks you're cute. if not, it's all over." I shuddered at the remembrance of his words. i hopped out of the bushes, and he seemed to calm down. he asked me a question, and i pondered for a bit on whether or not i should answer it. but before i could do anything else, he had picked me up into his arms. Is this the end for me? i shuddered a little at the thought. "Aw, are you cold little guy? here, i know what to do to make you warmer." I wondered what he was going to do, when i was suddenly put down his shirt. What's going on? why did he put me down his shirt? at least i can still see, but still, this is very weird. The weird building he had been putting up with one other person opened up, and that person crawled out. "Who are you talking to Percy?" So, Percy was his name. "Just this fluffy little guy, Aarron." The guy named Percy said in response. So now i knew both of their names. "Why is he down your shirt, i mean, it's cute and all, but it's summer." I thought about the sense of it all, and decided that i was a little cold, because i had felt better as soon as he put me in his shirt. "Yes, but there is a breeze tonight." And just like that, the guy named Percy won the argument.
