Welp, here it is, my first project on this website. Art by me. _____________________________________________ Sinornithosaurus was a small dromaeosaurid theropod that lived in the early Cretaceous Period of the Yixian Formation in what is now China. When this small hunter was discovered, paleontologists noticed grooves in its long teeth, like that in venomous snakes or lizards. This led to the belief that Sinornithosaurus was the first confirmed venomous dinosaur (hence the venom I drew dripping from its mouth), but it was soon theorized that the teeth' unique shape may have just been formed by crushing during fossilization. A well-preserved cast fossil of a Sinornithosaurus also shows that it was covered in reddish-brown feathers.
