Here’s the story I’ve made for him, the background you need to know is there’s a mafia of witches, the boss is a man named Jupen who has a demon partner he summoned named Nellum Genus, and there’s also a bunny person named coniglix in the mafia: So Raz grew up in a pretty good household with his mom, dad, sister, and brother. When he was 11 he accidentally strangled his sister to death so his parents covered up the murder, then his parents sent him to live with his now 18 yr old bro who’d moved out a few months ago-the brothers name is Blui pronounced blue-. Raz lived a pretty normal life there as well, he didn’t really comprehend what he’d done to his sister he just knew it was wrong and now she wasn’t coming back. His brother got a stable job and everything worked out decently for them, Blui never treated Raz any differently because he understood that that would’ve been too much for lil ole Raz and he didn’t want to make Raz have to struggle anymore than he’d have to. One day when Raz is in 10th grade he sees two girls getting harassed for being together so he steps up and says he’ll fight the guy harassing them that night, hand to hand. They go to this tunnel, and the guy brought a gun, breaking the rules they agreed upon. Raz manages to notice the gun and tackle it away from the guy before he can shoot, and in self defense shoots and murders the guy. Raz is more scarred by this since he realizes exactly what he’s done, but he goes home anyways assuming no one had seen what he’d done. The next day Coniglix shows up to his house and tells him that he has to come with them or else they’ll release a video of him shooting the guy. Raz agrees and pretty much just leaves his brother forever, they go to the mafia base and pretty much Raz meets with Jupen, agrees to be an informant for the witch mafia, gathering info from teens/kids who’d otherwise be hesitant to talk to an adult, in exchange for making sure Raz doesn’t get found guilty of his crimes. In the mafia Coniglix ends up helping teach him magic(because witches), and he finds his preferred type to be shadow magic; controlling/manipulating shadows around him both figurative and literal. Hence the shadow wings~. And eventually Jupen sells his soul to his demon partner, Nullum, to ensure further that Raz can’t decide to leave them when the statues of limitation-the time until it becomes so you can’t convict someone of a crime in a case-runs out.
