Tyrannosaurus, T rex, the Tyrant lizard king; no matter what name we use, we all know who this beast is. Living 65 million years ago, Tyrannosaurus was one of the last dinosaurs to exist before the K-T Extinction event. From its discovery in 1905, it amazed the general public. It appeared in countless movies and films, depicted as a robust reptilian killing machine. In Jurassic Park, it was said that its vision was based on movement, and couldn't see you if you stood still. In recent years, however, CAT scans on Tyrannosaurus skulls showed that its eyes faced forward. This meant that Tyrannosaurus' field of view overlapped, which would have given it binocular vision. It could probably spot things up to 6 kilometers away (for comparison, humans can only see 1.5 kilometers away). Even if you did stand still, this beast would've spotted you before you saw it. It has also been theorized that Tyrannosaurus had feathers due to evidence of Tyrannosaurids such as Dilong and Yutyrannus in Asia having feathers.
