For me, Scratch started out as an after school camp called Byte Camp. There me and other Kids learned the basics of coding, and once completed got a USB stick with all the data of the things we made over the camp. This all enlightened me to coding, and eventually, animating. I learned by watching people like @Huntedskelly, @CattyCodes, And many others. But watching something of any of the people here can be a horrible experience if all you do is scroll down, take a peek at the comments and wonder what may lie there. I made that mistake several times and saw things like "f4f", "https:scratch.mit.edu/projects/whatever", and "ur overrated". All these things not only insulted the creator of the project, but sort of hurt me. About a month ago, in February, I took a week long break from scratch. When I came back I saw someone who gained 1000 followers in a day, say a fan is "only wanting fame" when they asked for a profile picture, and call two people learning animation overrated, those two learners are @-AirAnimations- and @ChewingFruitGum. If you know who called them that then just don't talk about it. That was my final straw, I stopped looking at other's stuff and just minded my own business for a few days, occasionally dropping a love or favourite. and helping My friends @InfoPotato and @JCraft2009. Now I decided to take another break. and what I see after that will determine my decision of staying, or leaving. I hope things get better. I hate to leave on a low note so I'm telling you I will be releasing a farewell Animation on the start of my break See You in a while, -@dah_potato
