Basedumb Rule 10: Don't edit instructions piratedumb Rule 9: Time is in HOURS. based off of https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/323632021/ by @sammyjb5. USE ARROWS also based off of We Need To Go Deeper. Just like any remix chain, you remix and continue the story. That's what makes it fun. Adapted Basedumb Rules: 0. Don't ruin the project to the point that certain functions are noticeably altered or don't work (e.g. music scripts, navigation) 1. You get two characters, joke or non-joke. 2. Don't do anything too catastrophic. That means no natural/unnatural disasters 3. No aliens 4. Only control your own characters (no killing) 5. Rule 5 can be broken 6. Only GC_Collabs, the owner, can make sprites 7. Owner can break rules (tho this owner probably won't do so that often) 8. Don't overwrite slides 9. Owner can let you break rules 10. Don't edit instructions 11. If you make a player sprite, it must be hidden for everyone else AT ALL TIMES WHEN THE PROJECT IS RUNNING and it must not mess up any other sprites. 12. Don't do things too quickly or slowly 13. Snail = jail (explanation: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/308854564/ ) 14. Maximum four new slides per remix 15. Rule 15 can also be broken 16. Don't add any inappropriate music and don't add any music that is longer than 240 seconds. 17a. Once you make a remix claim, you have 24 hours (1 day) to remix. If it expires, someone else can overwrite your claim. 17b. If you want an extra 24 hours say so before your claim expires as a reply, but no more extensions. 17c. Remix reservations expire in 24 hours by default. They cannot expire any later, but they can expire earlier. If it expires, someone can claim remix. 18. If you have broken a rule that wasn't there when you violated it, you cannot be punished for it. piratedumb Rules: rec ~ req = recommended but not required 1a. All new characters add 5 wood to the total wood count EACH. 1b. They also get a free hammer that they MUST equip initially. They can take it off later. 1c. New characters cannot spawn with anything else. 2a. Spend wood realisticly. (ties with rule 6) For example, don't spend 100 wood on making a stick. But don't spend 2 wood on making a giant wood mansion. 2b. Don't generate wood unless it's floating litter. - The floating litter excuse can only be used once every remix and litter can't contain more than 3 wood. 2c. Don't get wood "loans." 0 wood is zero wood. No negative wood. Same for all other materials. 3a. Another way of using the floating litter excuse: - Get scrap materials other than wood: the scrap cannot be too big and must be raw (string would be allowed, but not an entire toolbox) - GC_Collabs is exempt from this rule and will sometimes break it to the characters' advantage 3b. Ask GC_Collabs if you want a raw material to have its own tally count. This material needs to be common and needs to frequently show up in floating litter. 4. NO FINDING LAND UNLESS YOU'RE GC_COLLABS 5. Characters do not need to eat or sleep. They can also see fine during night. 6a. Don't do anything unrealistic. No magic (floating litter does not count as magic). Follow realistic physics (doesn't have to be exact). - One notable exception is writing on things - A very important exception is research. Be realistic with the duration and the subject though. 6b. Don't create special events unless you're 6c. You do not have to maintain the day and night setup -- GC_Collabs can do that. Though if you can, you should! 7. Change ONLY the thumbnail number and title project number every remix 8. (rec ~ req) Before adding your character to the scene, add it to the Characters sprite with its name and author. 9. Time is in HOURS. Be careful... 10. You can break parts of the boat and build on the boat but make sure the boat can still float.
