Below are my views on Asian hate. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personally, I believe that these attacks on Asians have to stop. Some of them were never a part of the spreading of COVID-19 and others are even AMERICAN CITIZENS. And even though some Asians did take place in spreading COVID-19 to America, it was never on purpose. Why would China want to start a worldwide pandemic that killed so many people--in their country included! And even if they did, is that the citizens' fault? Or the governments'? Asians shouldn't be blamed for COVID-19. Nobody should. Sure, this virus is the reason so many people died. Sure, this virus is the reason we're not at school right now. But should we really focus on finding someone to blame instead of uniting together to try to find a solution to this virus? Should we focus on attacking the Asians while this virus still continues on spreading havoc all over the world? This time, the virus snuck up on us. So how about we work on ensuring this doesn't happen again and preventing the deaths of so many more people instead of being the REASON so many people--namely Asians--are getting hurt? People have the power to make decisions and also have the power to impact the world if they want to. So why discriminate now? Why focus on hatred and loathing? Anyway, no words can express how grateful I am to you for reading my views on Asian hate! :)
