Scroll down to learn some facts about her and read her backstory UwU Maya is 16 years old female witch. She lives in a small cottage, in the center of the big forest. She has recently moved there from an island called Eisylium. Eisylium is an island of witches, that have been living there for a long time, hiding from humans, that began to chase them in the Middle Ages. People were afraid of witches, wizards, and other magic creatures. So, witches organized a sabbath, where they decided to take all magic creatures and hide from usual people. They chose a small uninhabited island, that was located next to Ireland and moved there. Sometime later people forgot about witches and their magic, and they turned into legends and fairytales for kids. But witches were still living on the island that they called Eisylium with many other magical creatures like unicorns, dragons, and many more. Everything was calmly but after some time the problem had appeared: from year to year the free space on the island was becoming less and less. So, some of the witches had to move to other places and islands and live side by side with usual people. Witches didn't like them too much because people killed many witches in the Middle Ages. So they didn't show themselves and tried to settle the less crowded places, like a forest where Maya was going to live. She was born in a family of hereditary magicians and spent her all childhood in Eisylium. Her parents began to teach her magic in her young years and she had made great progress in it, especially in spells and potion-making. She always loved discovering new things and spend a lot of time walking in nearby forests and meadows. She also enjoys reading books, no matter what genre they are. And she even tries to make her own spellbook and works on it in her free time. Maya is very kind, dreamy, caring, lively, and cheerful. She also has a pet frog named Sprout. Sprout is a talking frog, Maya's familiar and her best friend. Maya likes learning something new and when she turned 16 she asked her parents if she can move to another place. They didn't like the idea at first, but then they agreed and let her settle down in the nearest locality. So, soon, Maya was in her new house. She liked her new dwelling a lot. There were many different plants and animals around her house, so she spends lots of time exploring them and experimenting with potions. She also helps the forest animals. She feeds and cures them when they need and all of them are ready to help her too. Sprout doesn't like it too much, because he wants to be the only Maya's helper, but sometimes he still visits frogs in the local pond. But besides forest animals, Maya and Sprout have other neighbors: there is a small town located next to their forest. At first, Maya didn't come too close to the edge of the forest, but curiosity got the better of fear, and she began to watch the life of this small city and soon she realized, that people aren't as awful as she was told. Many people's inventions seemed like magic for her and inspire her. But despite sympathy for people she still doesn't dare to go out to town and observes them from afar. She knows that if she will show herself to people her life will change forever. Will she ever make up her mind to risk for it?
