Yes I like mermaids. Mostly because they don't have feet so they're 1000 times easier to draw- - - - First off, her hair is wavy because originally she was supposed to have much lighter skin and brown hair, but I've already drawn too many whitewashed characters so I changed it literally as I was coloring it in and really liked the hair I already had, otherwise I would have made it curly. Second, the fish are strange and I literally made them up on the spot but they will probably make cameos in other water settings I make. The little blobs in the bottom left are supposed to be coral but I totally messed it up oh well- And last the background needs some work and I probably could have done better on the lighting but I've been working on this for a few days and was getting drawing cramps so bad I just needed to finish it.
