Bob Bishop is a thin, muscular and charming gardener from Scotland. His life is going nowhere until he meets Polly Cox, a slim, slender woman with a passion for dancing. Bob takes an instant disliking to Polly and the scheming and rude ways she learnt during her years in the city. However, when a cow tries to rob Bob, Polly springs to the rescue. Bob begins to notices that Polly is actually rather courageous at heart. But, the pressures of Polly's job as a shopkeeper leave her blind to Bob's affections and Bob takes up writing to try an distract herself. Finally, when peculiar police officer, Clarke Blunder, threatens to come between them, Polly has to act fast. But will they ever find the sensational love that they deserve?
