I plan to make it as close to the original as possible down to the exact speed values and multipliers, based on the data I can find. I got the sprites from the official celeste dc server (huge thanks!) 2026-03-10 update: fixed a decent number of bugs related to jumping, including the incorrect implementation of jump buffering, which works now. Added coyote time, crouching, and fast falling. still needs to be done: -animation state system -turning around within 2-3 frames after a climbjump turns it into a non-neutral walljump -refund momentum after being stopped by a wall but getting over it within 3 frames -climbing on top of objects -turning around animation -dangling animation -key binding system After all those are done and everything works without bugs, the final hurdle will be a good dashing implementation.
