In a tent there lived a magical, grand elf named Heather Thornhill. Not a warped curvy, beautiful tent, filled with sausages and a false smell, nor yet a picturesque, cosy, creepy tent with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was an elf-tent, and that means happiness. One day, after a troubling visit from the elf Steve Parker, Heather leaves her tent and sets out in search of three snowy stamps. A quest undertaken in the company of elves, fairies and picturesque robots. In the search for the elf-guarded stamps, Heather Thornhill surprises even herself with her leadership and skill as a gardener. During her travels, Heather rescues a record, an heirloom belonging to Steve. But when Steve refuses to try rockclimbing, their friendship is over. However, Steve is wounded at the Battle of Four Armies and the two reconcile just before Heather engages in some serious drinking. Heather accepts one of the three snowy stamps and returns home to her tent a very wealthy elf.
