Happy #transdayofvisibility ! Everyday, transgender and non-binary people face hatred and bigotry for their gender. This is not right. Being called the wrong name, being called rude names, and being misgendered every single day makes you feel so awful. It's 2021. This needs to change. Cisgender people are cool, transgender people are too. Here are three easy things YOU can do to be a good ally!: 1. use a trans persons correct pronouns! its should go without saying, but if someone uses he/him, don't use she/her! 2. put your pronouns in your about me! first of all, it makes it easier for other scratchers to know how to refer to you, and it normalises it! it makes a big difference. 3. stand up to transphobia. if you see a trans person is being bullied for being trans, online or in real life, tell the bully its not ok. be nice, but firm. as a trans person, its really amazing when someone else can stand up for us. we do it all the time. remember, you are loved and valid no matter your gender or sexuality! Any hate comments will be reported and deleted. Don't even bother trying to un-trans me or others ok? Art: me, @-RainCIoud- . Although I can't strictly enforce it, I'd really, really appreciate it not being traced or recoloured! Music: She likes girls - Metro Station
