Hello! I am no longer active on scratch or this account but I still occasionally log on to find that people are recoloring my projects, which is fine!! But since the majority of people who do this are kids, I would like to make this post as a warning. If you recolor the artwork on this account, please recolor ALL of it! If you want to only change a marking or two on a design, that is fine, as long as you NEVER use that character again! Changing one color on my character is not making a new character and IS character theft! Which despite scratchs copy left rule, continuous use of my character without permission is very much so illegal! Again, you are free to recolor the art on this account as long as you stay respective of my intellectual property :)
Other questions! Q: Can I use your oc's colors on my own oc? A; Yes! As long as they aren't so similar that they could be confused with eachother. Q: Can I use one of your characters markings for mine? A: Yes! however try to add some of your own markings as well, don't just make your oc mine with a different color pallet. Q: Can I use your art on a different site? A: NO! Absolutely not! Scatchs copy left law does not work on all sites, using my art on other sites IS art theft. Q: Can I use your art as my icon? A: No again! If you are looking for an icon of your oc then there are many other artists who do art requests and also do art trades with younger artists.
