The fox’s name is Cherry! She’s a blind healer who lives in a cave behind a waterfall. the string around one of her legs is from a trap she got stuck in two years ago, and although she wasn’t able to get all of it off, it doesn’t hurt as much as before, ( but there are still pink scars and less fur there) Since that incident she experienced what it feels like to be prey, and decided to try and eat as little as possible. She can’t remove it from her diet completely but she eats a lot of plants. I chose the waterfall cave as her home because it is dark and humid, so it makes sense that her mushrooms grew.
Art stuff: I got rid of the collar because I wanted to paint a more natural style. I left the line art sketchy because I am really bad at it... not really a design choice. I made the bracelet string instead because realism and backstory. The mushrooms being big was simply because it looked cuter, but I put them between her back and her tail because it’s the hardest place to reach so they would grow uninterrupted. - - - I used ibisPaint X
