That I’m actually proud of for once?! :3 《 ♥︎ 》~ ` AYY Meet Riku! ~Here’s some info about this New OC~ - Pronouns are she/her but they/them are also fine :> - Smol bean, chill - Has some wavy floof that hangs from her ears >:3 and very fluffy/long tail. - Child with horns + winged - Easy to talk to/will literally always make sure to compliment you - Her scarf is comforting to her. - She has social anxiety, but she’s slowly been feeling comfortable with others around her. - She can be clingy sometimes to the people she befriends - G o o d V i b e s <3 - Seems soft, but if you mess with anyone close to her.. - Overprotective over the people she cares about. - F l o o f is p o w e r - Little note: Riku can also be a unisex name, it’s not just a masculine one. 《 ♥︎ 》~ ` =A bit over her backstory= Writing backstories at 1 am let’s goo Not much is known from Riku´s origin, she's yet to open up to her friends. But as a child, Riku was born into the SnowPeak Glade Dome, hence why she´s very furry. However, her parents noticed two little humps starting to form on Riku´s head as she reached the age of 3. Normally, these humps were just a sign of irritation from all the developing going on in a newborn. So it was a huge surprise to the parents, when the humps eventually peaked out of Riku´s head, and revealed small horns, that were white at the time. Hybrids (not including the “normal” winged cats) were not welcome into the SnowPeak Glade Dome, as they were deemed “chaotic.” Hunting laws were also established recently by the time Riku was about to be born, which declared that if a hybrid was found in the Dome, they would be killed on site as a “trespassing” and “a danger to their society.” So.. her parents made a heartbreaking decision. And when Riku turned 5, they left Riku in the New Moon Otzarreta Forest, leaving her with the purple and pink scarf, a reminder of the snowy dome she came from... and of her parents. They could not go with Riku, since cat’s from the SnowPeak Glade were not allowed to leave the Snowy Dome, and would be prosecuted if they weren’t found in their homes for the daily checkup at 10, in the night. Those checkups were nightmares for this family since Riku’s parents would have to comb their daughters hair in such a way that it would cover the small horns, similar to long bangs, but just above her face. A peculiar sight, one would say. But when the checkup happened, the night after Riku´s escape after midnight, the regular cats on the shift questioned why Riku wasn’t there, which her parents had prepared a fake document (Riku´s mom was a nurse and her dad was a doctor, and they had access to those legal documents) that proclaimed Riku as deceased, the reason of death put on the document was by eating the poisonous Ficklevine berries, one of the few berries that grew in that Dome. Meanwhile, Riku made her way towards a stream, where a hoard of flowers were coming from the direction of the source of that stream. Since she had been feeling as lonely as ever, she decided to loose herself in weaving little flowers together while slowing going forward. She tripped and stumbled a few times, but she got up each time. And as she neared completing her flower crown of sorts, she heard.. such weird but, song like sounds. She spotted.. delicate winged creatures flying in the air, singing to their own melody. She didn’t know whether to be terrified or not, but she felt.. safe somehow. The word “bird” came to mind, as she had seen a drawing hung up around her house. Well, more like a “WANTED” poster, with the same drawing of these beings, and the word “bird”. But these aren’t like the normal birds you may be thinking about. These ones had a bright light that dangled from their heads, and had glowing green wings, with yellow patterns running along the sides in a circular formation. Even though she was curious, she was still a bit intimidated. So, when one approached her.. - Dang it I ran out of room :( - 《 ♥︎ 》~ ` Song is “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol 《 ♥︎ 》I’ve been drawing a lot of humans lately (Especially because of the “Wilbur’s Unfinished Symphony” Animatic that I’ve been working on, based on the Dream SMP!) and I’ve gotten really comfortable with hands + noses! But I wanted to get into drawing cats more often. And after a few hours of developing this, I felt more comfortable with this style.
