Kinda rushed entry >U< Space to advance! :D There's a shaded bust , and a flat fullbody with a poem. x3 EDIT: Scratch ruined the quality, so I rewrote the poem below <33 I should be happy. No one in this world to fight. Alone. Locked up. Here with no one. Day and night. I'm fighting. I fought and I fight for my liberty and freedom. I'm lightening. I flash like the tip of a sword. I'll lash out. And I'll cut and I'll fight and I'll claw. Away from this hate and fear row. I feel the pain and the ache in my paw. I'm walking on rough ground. All art by me <33 Click and drag to zoom in! ^D^ ASDGHAJSLKDGJHASDKA Why does scratch always have to ruin the quality?! Okay I really really REALLY want this baby :00000 Anything in /here/ is supposed to be italicized. ^U^ (From the point of view of Arrella) Waves crashed upon the sides of the ship. It felt like the wood beneath me was cracking, chipping, falling apart. Like my broken, lost soul. Lost hope. The only reason I went out, became a pirate, was to find my parents. My parents whom I lost in the storm. I was sure they were alive. My eyes were filling up with water. I hated myself for it. The hot tears splattering on my face like the salty, clear droplets of the southern seas. But I couldn't know they were alive. I couldn't know, for sure. Not now, sitting here behind bars on the lower deck of the Captain's ship. Please, I didn't do anything wrong! Caught and bound simply because of my pirate's binding mark splat on my hip. My parrot cocked his head. I lowered mine, tearing my eyes away from the dark, ominous, rusted metal bars of my window. At least I still have sunlight to enjoy, light to master. The Captain's lower deck had round windows installed, and the beautiful rays of sun that peered through the clear waters shone bright through my window. The Captain's glass window, not mine, I reminded myself. I sighed. I was their only prisoner, not counting my silly parrot. I felt stupid and dumb, sitting there not doing anything about it. I'm Arriella, the stupid dumb pirate who took to the seas to find her lost parents. This parrot is Sir Percival, my useless, stupid and dumb parrot who came along with me. Yeah. Here we're all stupid and dumb. I've already got my tail torn off for that. I scowled. I didn't need reminding. Caught in a broken mast. Blegh. At least my leg wasn't my fault. I remember the shark. It's oily, damp skin so vivid in my memories. Those layers and layers of sharp, rough teeth. Maniac black eyes. I felt the cell suddenly go cold. A shiver ran down my body. I backed away into the corner of my cell. A tall, shabby lion padded past the door, with his blue and white cap perched upon his head. /The/ Captain. /The/ lion. And I'm a simple Singapura, cowering, crawling away. But I'm strong. And I'm brave. And I won't. Back. Down. I hissed quietly. The Captain had caught my eyes with his. His right eye clawed out. When I saw the pink flesh, I didn't flinch. I'd seen him before, the same way. Our gazes locked together. Key to unlock them lost behind us, in the sea churned by the wooden planks of Queen Hive. The look he gave me was nowhere near friendly. His stare pierced me, run me through like a sword. My family mark burned on my cheek, and my father's kind face flashed across my memory. I was proud of the mark, it gave me strength. It connected me to my parents. Reminded me that I had loved ones, and ones that loved me back. I was a pirate, but that didn't mean I didn't have a heart. I had a heart, but that didn't mean I wasn't a pirate. "Your name." It wasn't a question. It was a command. If I didn't obey, I'd be punished. "Arriella," I answered. My voice didn't quiver. It was strong and bold. Stuck-up and brave. I stepped out of the gloomy corner of the cell, watching his eyes look me over. I saw specks of dust floating in the air, illuminated by the dim sunlight. The Captain straightened up. "I see." I knew he was trying to crack me. Crack my shell. I wouldn't let him. "You're needed on deck, /kitten/," he spat the word as if it were something disgusting, but he kept himself disciplined and looked at me. Expressionless. Keeping his dumb poker face. "Why?" I meowed aloud, sounding like my normal self. I started to recognize my commanding, smooth voice. I stood up and walked straight up to the cell door. My wooden leg clunked loudly in the silence. "We found land," the Captain informed me, licking his chest fur. He got up, I felt his fur brush the cell door. I saw his scarred face clearly through the bars. The door swung open. I don't want to cross. This door was to slavery, to constant commands, to constant work. I needed the door to freedom, to life, to /my/ /me/. I stood, gazing at the Captain unblinkingly, my eyes narrowed. I didn't move. I'd rather stay in the cell. I knew it was the wrong thing to do as soon as I'd made my decision. (continued below)
His yellow fangs slid from under his muzzle, unsheathing a deadly sword. A deadly sword I /knew/ he was readying to swing. Wanna know more? >:3 GIMME THE CHARACTER AND I"LL CONTINUE THE STORY BWAHAHA jkjk you don't have to give me the character, but if I win her I'll definitely continue writing. :OOO EEEEEEE oMg I won her <333333 Soooo, I've started to write the continuation :DDD I'm going to copy paste it into scratch when I'm done with Chapter One :> Bio (Cat): Name: Arriella, "Arr"iella :"p [I added an "i" to her name >u<] Nicknames: Arriella, Arr, Ella, Matey Age: 3 years old. ^u^ (Which isn't that young for cats anymore >v<) Pronouns: She/her Gender: Female Sexuality: Lesbian >v< Species: Cat Breed: Singapura Likes/Loves: Sir Percival >U<, her parents, the sea, sailing, being a pirate Dislikes: Being locked up, caught alone in the Captain's ship, not being able to do what she likes (obviously xD), land (gets landsick if that's a thing xD) Personality: Sarcastic, usually really brave, open/social, kind when you get to know her and are her friend but otherwise sometimes comes across as aggressive. Strengths/skills: Sailing, driving ships, everything to do with sailing ships seas etc, climbing, really good at fighting and fighting while climbing etc. Weaknesses: She definitely has a soft spot (parents), and if you hit it she can get overemotional and vulnerable.
