1,2& 3 for roars BASIC INFORMATION ------------------------------------------------------------------------Horridum Terribilus is a species of 30-40 foot tall, 60-70-foot long, omnivorous creature native to the deserts, fields, and forests of Gomaca, they eat anything that is edible, from large and dangerous predators to tree trunks and even small fungi. they can live up to 80 years and they weigh about 4,360-5,040 pounds and eat 40-55 pounds of food a day, however food like this is hard to come by, and therefore they have two huge humps on their shoulders. they have a bite force of 7,800 PSI and can roar up to 228 decibels (however, they only roar like this in mating rituals). BEHAVIOR & MATING HABITS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------they live in social groups called towns. towns can have many horridum terribilus nests, these nests are 5 feet deep and 20 feet in diameter, males use their huge claws to dig these nests. Horridum Terribilus are born without humps and wait for their fathers to bring food, as the mother watches over them. Males can be hunting for many weeks, and may bring something as big as a Gigas Salamandras. If the male takes too long, the female may have to rip her own humps open in order to feed her young, when the young are done feeding from the humps, the female will wait until the humps have healed. once babies get their humps, they are allowed to leave their nest and play with their neighbors. they are able to mate at around 18-24 years old. when two males both want one female they have a mating competition. in these competitions males will start of with a roaring contest, If the female cannot make up her mind after this they start to dig, whichever one can dig the deepest nest will have a higher chance of getting selected. If the female still cannot make up her mind, the males will go out and hunt for the biggest creature they can takedown. Finally, If the female still cant choose, the males fight. Whichever male backs down first will lose, and the winner gets to mate. DIET --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Horridum terribiluses eat almost anything, however, they do have a few prey items they prefer over others. -querests: querests kill horridum terribilus young, and therefore Horridum Terribilusses love Querest flesh, however, due to the querests cloaking ability, they are hard to catch. -Gigas Salamadras: although they are hard to take down, they impress females, so in the hunting contest (see above) males will often seek out Gigas Salamadras - Axeheads: axeheads also eat Horridum Terribilus young, and therefore are attacked (although not easily taken down) by vengeful Horridum Terribilus parents. I will add more info soon! -Albainsiidis: although this is a hard fight (Albainsiids are pretty evenly matched with these big boys) Albainsiids are usually killed after a nest has been attacked by one, and, such a large carcass could feed a nest for a while. however, Albainsiids are stealthy and hard to kill, also, they have a venomous bite, and usually take more than one horridum to take them down
