Scars? Oh, kid, I could tell you all about scars. Scars can tell a thousand tales of pain and sorrow... ...and healing, if that's how you choose to look at it. Come with me... We've all got at least one. A scar. And I don't mean the kind that leaves a physical mark. I mean emotional scars. Words are like swords here, when we're talking about these. They can be used to good ends or not-so-good ends. They have the ability to leave a mark. A scar. If I could have an ability, it would be to be able to see scars, so that if I witnessed a kid getting their first scar, I could kneel down and say to them: "Look, kid. You just got your first scar. Judging by how the world is right now, it'll be the first of many, but listen to me: Keep going. Don't end it, even when it gets rough. Too many people have been lost because they've gathered too many scars. But no matter what happens, kid, KEEP MOVING FORWARD." Then I would hug them, hoping to sqeeze my words in, so they would understand and remember them in the toughest times. The message isn't just for that kid, it's for all of you, whoever needs it most. Please. Don't. End. It. There's a light at the end of every tunnel, so keep going forward, you'll get there eventually. And even when it looks like nobody cares about you, you have at least one person who does. And she's right through this screen, writing this to whoever needs it. I hope this made the scars hurt a little less. -SnowiFox1 <3
So I've mentioned scars in my previous speech, which got me thinking about this.
