click to zoom - click the arrow in the corner to see with/without glasses + another version - move mouse up/down to see all parts of the drawing :) For those of you that didn't know, I just got an iPad ^^ These are my first complete drawings with Procreate, and I'm still not completely used to it, but I can't get better unless I actually draw haha. xD (also I notice that the earring and tattoo are on two different sides in the drawings I'm sorry ;;) (also also if anyone is wondering why he has a lollipop in the 3rd slide, it's because it used to be a cigarette, but after making it, I decided I didn't want him to be smoking x_x) ~ Bio ~ Name: Florian he/him ~ Backstory ~ Florian was born the eldest son to a wealthy family. Being the eldest, he would inherit his family's steamship company and grow up to become a prominent political figure like his father and his father before him. In between his extensive studies, Florian spends his time playing the piano and reading in his family’s library. He plans to live up to his family name and take the steamship company to even greater heights. In the summer leading up to his inheritance, Florian studied ships coming in and out of the harbor; he hoped to learn more about them in order to efficiently run the company. However, instead of watching the boats, Florian found himself catching sight of a handsome young sailor. Florian’s time at the port was no longer spent focusing on boats; he would rather play the day away with Henry, the young sailor, and his first friend. They spent the summer together, trading stories and telling jokes from dawn to dusk. Florian taught Henry about piano, high-class life, and which fork to use during meals. Henry, in turn, taught Florian the mechanics of ships and how to navigate the sea, and how to pierce an ear (which was a bloody experience, but Florian didn’t mind). As the summer came to an end, however, Florian’s father informed him that they would be selling the steamship company with plans to begin work on railroads. Florian and his family would move west, leaving boats far, far behind. The day before he moved, Florian said his final goodbye to Henry. From dawn to dusk–as always–they spent the day together. As the sun began to set on the horizon, Henry took Florian on a boat ride. They took turns spinning the wheel, pretending to be pirates ravaging the sea in search of treasure. As the day came to an end, the two boys prepared to say their goodbyes. They promised to meet again, whether it was in this life or the next. Months after moving west, Florian came home one day with a tattoo on his neck. His father asked what it was, and Florian explained that it was a steering wheel, signifying his loyalty to steamships, which had been the base of his new career. Though, in reality, his tattoo symbolized his loyalty to someone else. I hope that wasn't too long ^^" I got a bit carried away haha xD I really love this character's design!! I just had to make a thorough story for him lol
