A small Harulian child sat in the middle of the Forest of Dreams. They had quickly given up hope of being found. They had been surviving off of bugs and dew collected on leaves. The hallucinations had been getting worse, almost tangible. Soon the forest would overtake they. NO! No, they had to escape! They wobbled to their feet, and set off in what they assumed was North. Vines slithered across their path, trying to trip them. The child dodged them, and continued on their way. After what seemed like hours, they emerged from the dreaded forest, scratching covering their pale purple skin. They followed a path leading to a village. A royal guard walked up to them. "Woah, what happened to you?," the guard asked, sounding worried. "Forest... of Dreams. Was... abandoned,." replied the child weakly. The guard picked up the child, "Here, I'll take you to the castle." The child only nodded. =At the Castle= "I must see her Majesty!" the guard insisted. "I am quite sorry, but Queen Selene is busy at-" "Thomas, is there a problem?" Selene seemed to appear out of nowhere. "Oh, what happened to this poor child?" She asked after noticing the body in the guards arms. "They said they were abandoned in the Forest of Dreams, Your Majesty." "Oh, take them to the hospital wing at once!" the queen insisted. "Yes, Your Majesty." After some extensive healing done by Candy, the sorcerer-in-training at the castle, the child was mostly fine. "W-where am I?" they asked after sleeping for a while. "You're in the Crystalline Castle, sweetie." Candy replied. "O-oh." "So, could you tell us your name?" Candy asked. "I-I'm Ditto." the child, now known to be Ditto, replied. Candy smiled, "That's a beautiful name!" Ditto blushed. "T-thanks." Candy then glanced at the clockflower in a pot on the windowsill. "Oh! I need to go now, you should get some more rest." Candy exclamed. Ditto nodded, and drifted into dreams of honey-drops and a feeling of being wanted. ==The End!==
