Sorry it took so long to judge, here's the results! I was too lazy to put them in the project :/ it's been a crazy week. First, congratulations to all of the entries for participating in the game jam, it's been much more fun with lots of entries :) If you didn't place, I can tell you your score if you would like, just ask in the comment section. Fair warning, I had a really hard time deciding between first and second, and when I used the scoring system they ended up being TWO POINTS APART. :O SCROLL FOR WINNERS! In 3rd: 99 Luftballons - 61/75 points! by @animi987 I had a lot of fun playing this one! I thought the song was interesting. The balloon physics were really cool and fun to play with. All of the new dangers throughout the game kept it fun and not boring. Overall, great job, it was a great game :) In 2nd: Flyboy - 64/75 points! by @Banbot2 I'm going to be honest, the top 2 were both my favorite, but I scored and one just beat the other by a little bit. This is one of my favorite games that I've played before, especially having an account old enough to remember 1.4. It was exactly what it said it was, an "ode to 1.4." The use of the default sprites and sounds was hilarious, and I definitely appreciated all the 1.4 and 2.0 references. Great game. And that leaves 1st! Silent Thunder - 66/75 points! by @VintageSledGuy This was pretty fun. I could've given you full points as I couldn't really think of anything wrong with the game, but I don't think anyone is quite perfect, so no one in the jam got a perfect score in any of the categories. The new levels keep the game interesting, and the music helps a lot with the mood of the game, and it feels really exciting to play. (even when you keep repeating the same level because it turns out I'm really bad at the game) I don't know how the bitmap animations are so good, but it turned out pretty awesome.
