<RECYCL3R> ============================== I created this game in hopes of spreading the idea of a fun way to promote recycling, sustainability, and protecting the environment. Recycler is a game where you collected trash while racing for first. This trash can then be divided to five different parts: compost, aluminum, cardboard, paper, and plastics. These can be used to create various car parts to update your car. This game promotes the idea of sustainability because it shows a fun and clean way to use trash, cars, and cities to create a green environment. Let’s start with the gameplay. When you click on the race button and enter a Cycle, the race will start to load. Your race will start and you can control the car using WASD or the arrow keys. You have ten laps to get first place. While you race, there are trash on the road. Collect the trash; they are the bulk of your earnings! On the left of your screen, you can see a trash tank. This shows you how much of your tank is full. It also shows you the percentages of what your trash tank is filled with. These are compost, aluminum, cardboard, paper, and plastics. At the end of the race, you will earn the amount of the trash you collect. Let’s move on to end of the race. When you collect your earnings, you will be sent back to the main menu. This is where you can buy parts and customize your car. When you press the shop button, you can look through five different car parts. Before we go into what these car parts are, let’s go over what they affect. There are eight things that the car components can affect: weight, speed, acceleration, brake speed, traction, turn speed, rotation speed, and most importantly, environmental friendliness. Environmental friendliness is how friendly your car is to the environment, whether that’s based on it’s production, if it’s built with non-renewable materials, or carbon emissions. The higher the percentages, the more cycle coins you earn at the end of each race. Turn speed is basically the maximum of how fast your car can turn while rotation speed is the acceleration, or how quickly your car can turn to the maximum turn speed. Traction is how grippy your tires are. In the game you can quickly tap brake and turn to drift. However this is based on your traction and weight. Weight affects acceleration, deceleration, and brake power. The heavier your car, the slower you can accelerate and the harder it is to brake. Now, the car components. These are the case, wheels, engine, steering, and utility. The case is the shell of the car. This is the main design and heaviest weight of your car. It also contains almost a quarter of your environmental score. The wheels provide the main traction of the car. However, it doesn’t affect the weight and the total environmental score that much. The engine provides the main acceleration, max speed, and brake power of the car. While it does affect some of the total weight of the car, it provides most of the environmental score. The steering affects the turn speed and rotational speed. It affects a lot of the weight and only some of the environmental points. The utility is important because it can help you get more trash. Some utilities can create more space for certain trash, give you a bigger trash tank, or even allow you to suck some of the trash closer to you when racing. You can buy all of these parts in the shop. The amount of different trash you collected and the amount of Cycle coins you have can be used to buy these parts. To build these car parts in shop, you have to look at how much compost, aluminum, cardboard, paper, or plastics you need to craft it. After you built these car parts, you can go back to the main menu and click on your car. You car will expand and show you all the components you car currently has. If you click on any of the parts, you can choose and car part to replace it. You can also see the statistics of the part and how it affects your car in total. If you click the shell of the car, you can change the color of it. If you go back to the main menu and if you have enough parts, you can create another car by clicking the arrows. You can have a grand total of nine cars. When you go back to the menu, you can save the game by clicking on the save button on the bottom right of your screen. A save code will come up and you can copy and paste the code onto a document. If you accidentally stop the project, don’t worry. All you have to do is click the flag and press continue. If you’ve just loaded the project and clicked continue, it will ask you for your save code. If the save code is tampered in any way, you code will not work.
! A T T E N T I O N ! Have a slow computer? go to turbowarp.org/513771897/ If frame-rate slows during racing, it is because of big image sizes from buildings. You can play windowed (not full-screen) to avoid this. Love Favorite & Follow Check out my other projects.
