I invented a game with my dog I call ' play and seek ' sounds horrible I know </3 So basically, you get your dog and your dog's favorite toy, you find a hiding spot in your house before you throw the toy. Once you find a hiding spot, look for an open area or long hallway that you will not be going to for your hiding spot. Place yourself at the end of the wall closest to your hiding spot. Make sure you have your dogs attention, and then throw the toy. The minute you know the toy, you want to rush to get into your hiding spot before your dog gets their toy and comes back to where you were before, so about 15 seconds. Your dog will come back looking for you, and notice you are not there. Once you get in your hiding spot, your job is to call out her/his name. Call until you here his/her paw steps coming to you. Maybe call a few times more once you do. When you hear your dog in the room you are in, you have two choices. First choice | normal hiding : just hide and wait for your dog to find you, then say stuff like 'good boy/girl!' if they find you Second choice | spook them : you can choose to spook your dog once they are near you, it's quite funny for me to see Max (my pupper who invented this with me) jump back and get startled, though you might not feel the same. Then, repeat everything with a new hiding spot. Soon enough your dog will understand what your doing and you don't even need to call their name
