Oh woah, a thumbnail I actually like! It's Copper (OC thumbnails go brrr) because I feel like it and they need more appreciation Also sorry for the crappy lighting, Chromebook cameras are the absolute worst So this is kinda my process behind an assignment I did for art class, which I ended up using watercolors for and I don't normally use watercolors so yea 1 - thumbnailing/brainstorming So, thumbnailing! I wasn't quite sure what to do for the assignment since it's a free draw, but eventually I settled on a landscape from one of my stories (*cough* Starflower Hill *cough*) because I had been wanting to draw this for a while and I felt like it. So you can kinda see where I started and how I got to a slightly more complicated design, then also some power doodles bc why not 2 - rough draft This was a full-sized rough draft so I could work out the proportions better and see about how the composition would end up looking 3 - rough draft 2? final draft 1? Since I liked the rough draft so much, I almost made it the final draft bUt iT wAsN't On WaTeRcOlOr PaPeR dhsfgjkfa so I traced it on the back and got this, so basically a flipped version of the rough draft 4 - final draft with ~ color ~ I don't have a picture of the final draft lineart, but it was the last image traced pretty much. So color it is! I wish the castle was a little lighter and the sky darker, but I'm still content with the end color result, especially with how inexperienced I am with watercolor. Also, color mixing is fun 5 - final final draft! I just went over the lines again because I felt like it, so there's the end result! Now to actually turn in the assignment, heh- 6 - thumbnail on look it's the thumbnail again
