Invest #94W became Tropical Storm #Surigae earlier today. Surigae has a lot of potential. Currently, I am forecasting a 5 day peak of 130 mph, a category 4. Currently, there is a possibility of Tropical Storm force winds on the #Philippines, and they are almost certain to occur on Yap and Palau. It is worth noting that there is a chance of a direct hit in the Philippines, although it is unlikely at this time. #94P has a slight chance of formation AOI 20 is located near #Madagascar and has a 25% chance of formation. Model trends have continued to show a system forming here. There is also an AOW in the Gulf of Carpentaria.
