it uses a nice collision detection method in one spot, and has decent player animation, but there is no game content. basically just a proof of concept right now. there are far better ways do many of the things here I'm sure.
known major issues: -shooting causes speculative collision to break (not sure why they produce such massive lag) -there is hardly much to explore. -lags noticably except on high-end systems and turbo mode provides only minor improvement -collision is in general very sketchy. older versions allowed the player to land on top of a pixel-thin line when falling at high speeds very consistently. I don't think that works anymore, but I haven't checked. I cannot recall any non-trivial code in this which was not written by me. this is why allowing more than one pen should be added in the future. or even just allowing users to create extra horizontal and vertical 'edges'.
