~Notebooks and Confessions~ Marinette slams her head down in frustration and groans. She doesn't understand how math got so freaking hard. Maybe it was because of all the days of school she missed due to being the guardian, being Ladybug, and just never quite getting on time to things. Whatever the reason, Marinette had fallen farther behind, so she was getting tutored this afternoon. BEEP! BEEP! An alarm went off on Marinette's phone to remind her that Adrien would be coming over in 5 minutes to help her study. What a minute ... ADRIEN! The embarrassed teen jumped out of her seat when she remembered who would be tutoring her. DING! She could hear the bell from the bakery, all the way upstairs in her room. Please, please, don't be Adrien! Of course, that wasn't the case, "Marinette! Adrien's here!" She heard her mom yell up the stairs. Against all of her will, she yelled back, "Coming, Mom!" Marinette took a quick glance around her room to make sure nothing was out of place before she opened the hatch to the stairs to let Adrien up. "Hey Marinette," Adrien greeted her in his usual upbeat mood. "Uh, I need to use the restroom right now. You can get out my math notebook if you would like. I'll be right back." Marinette said with a smile as she excused herself. While Marinette was in the bathroom frantically questioning why in the world she thought it'd be a good idea to have Adrien tutor her, Adrien was trying to find her math notebook. He opened a pink notebook and found nothing but fashion designs. No matter how much Adrien wanted to find out about the latest things Marinette has been designing, he moved on continuing to look for her math notebook. He opened a blue notebook but only found history notes. He then saw a sage green notebook on the corner of Marinette's desk. He assumed Marinette had already gotten out her math notebook before he had gotten there so this must be it. He snatched the notebook and opened it up to a random page. Where he expected to see numbers and equations across the pages. he instead found a title heading, "The Most Embarrassing Day of my Life." As curious as a cat, he decided to take a quick read before Marinette returned from the bathroom. He soon realized that the day she was writing about was the day they had spent together at the museum. Although he knew he had found her diary, and that it was wrong to keep reading, he was intrigued, so he continued to read. 'I can't believe how embarrassing today was!' Her writing started off. 'I can't believe I almost kissed Adrien today! But I thought he was a statue! But then it was really him! I literally wanna cry! What will Adrien think now? There is no way he doesn't know I have a crush on him now!' While at the museum at that moment Adrien hadn't known Marinette had a crush on him, he now realized how blind he had been. He quickly put back the notebook because he heard Marinette walking up the stairs. "Hey Adrien, did you find my math notebook?" She asked smiling. "Not necessarily, but I found something else." He slyly said with a smirk. "What exactly did you find?" She questioned hoping it wasn't the presents she had made him up until his 50th birthday. "Just something that may or may not have revealed some interesting feelings." His smirk grew even wider. "Please just tell me what you're talking about, Adrien," Marinette said as her worry grew more frantic. "I'm talking about that green notebook over there revealing that you and I need to have a talk about our feelings for one another," Adrien stated matter-of-factly. "Listen, Adrien, I'm sorry for having a crush on you, I know you like Kagami, and you have every right to, after all, she's a wonderful girl and," "Marinette!" Adrien yelled, cutting her off abruptly. "Sorry for yelling, it's just that I don't like Kagami like that. The reason I wanted to talk to you about this is that I wanted to let you know that the feeling is mutual. I really like you, Marinette. Marinette burst into a fit of giggles and laughter. "What's funny about this?" Adrien asked somewhat hurt. "It's just that," Marinette could barely talk from the wheezing. "I've liked you for so long, to such an extent that I thought no one, especially the boy I liked, would ever like me back. And yet somehow you like me back." "Why would you think no one would like you back? You're beautiful, kind, and put others before yourself. What isn't there to like?" After such a surprising confession, there was much to discuss. Many silly things crushes make us do. And many feelings to be sorted out. But let's just say, Adrien was very glad he agreed to be Marinette's tutor.
