So recently I've been looking back at my art and well, the anatomy is wayyy off and pretty unrealistic. I've also gotten so constructive criticism on anatomy so I wanted to practice. yeah. Enjoy my horrible handwriting, walkthrough below. - - ˎˊ- Guide: 1. Can you see why I don't draw humans? xD the bottom left one is ok but ew. Practice makes progress...? 2. Most of these turned out alright, I tried to think of animals I usually draw. Cats because duh, foxes because duh, rats because they're amazing, deer because I have such a great design idea but the thing is i can't handle anymore OCs SO PLS SOMEONE, WANNA DO A DT???, and dogs because duh. w h e e z e 3. these are ok too, a bear bc I need to do a ref sheet for one of my ocs... that is a bear, fennec fox bc they're adorable and I'm pretty sure Aida is one... and idk why I did a rabbit but boyyy bunnies are adorable :pensive: 4. Last but not least (so short, ik, i'm sry) paws. Just cat and dog. Front and back of a cat paw, front and back of a dog paw. whoo - - ˎˊ- Note: Lowkey like the hardest I've ever worked on a thumbnail tho- I did use references on allll of thes. I feel like usually beginner artists really shy away form referencing. Well. I swear it can make your art look a lot better! Don't be afraid, there's really no such thing as pure originality, it's just inspiration, as long as you give credit. - - ˎˊ- Credits: Art + code: @evak191 Reference images: Mostly from google, most not by me, belong to their rightful owners Quality ruiner: Scratch That should be it :P - - ˎˊ- Tags: #anatomy #study #studies #art #humans
