(originally shared Jun 29, 2020) STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS - CHANGING IT AS I GO my entry for the second round of @nilla-'s art championship, now with small animations! so for this one, i took a drawing i'd made before, and edited it to fit the theme of fruit. so the fruit i chose was a plum (which she is holding in her hand). i tried to use the plummy colors - like blue and purple - in her design, as well as make the shading more pink/purple :D also, she has a small stem emerging from her hair. i also added two animations - her smile (which was hard) and her hand + the plum (easier). that was interesting, and also my first time drawing an open mouth smile! this was created entirely in scratch vector editor :D enjoy! -pi music: medieval 2 loop from scratch music library art: me contest: @nilla- hand reference: my left hand :D i was originally going to put in some fruity music but none of it really fit the image, so... i'm also really proud of her nose. that was fun- #art #animation #plum #fruit #artcontest #competition #championship #vector !
