Hi! So I recently shared a poem for the SDS! I found it quite successful, so I decided to share this one. I did this poem in Year 4 in a Verses for Lancashire poetry competition. The chosen poems got published in a book, and this was one of them! ——————- Inspiration—————————— Well, first of all the theme had to be magical! It has always been one of my dreams to gallop along a beach, so I thought I could bring that to life. The horse was based on my favourite pony at my riding stables, Simba ——————— My Passion for Writing ——————— I find writing poems and stories relaxing, and a way to escape reality. I find it really easy to sit down and have the worlds flow out my pen (or in this case my fingers). I think I do really well expressing emotions too.
