<~?~> <~?~> Well, if you find this journal, then you'll know a lot has happened. You'll know that either the world is changed, or that we ruined it for good. Well, whatever it be, I might as well record it while I can. I mean, if I don't, who will? The capitol has shown that they won't, Rowan says I've never had a worse idea... yet she showed up at our door yesterday asking for help. Fennec said that she's still hesitant on partaking, and I don't wanna even try with Del. Anywho, might as well get on with it. Tonight might be the last chance I get to do this. . . . I woke up, smiling with a yawn. I'd just received my acceptance letter into the career center yesterday, and Robin was pleased. She really didn't know what it entailed, though. At least she didn't act like she did. But, well, it was probably one of our last chances. I rolled out of bed, and opened the envelope, slipping out the letter to read it just one more time. Dear Accepted Applicant You've been accepted into the career center of district two. We've reviewed your application among hundreds, and have decided that you are among the five that will be entering the center. We hope you accept this honor, and join us this Friday, the 16th, at 9:30 am to attend the acceptance club. If, for any absurd reason, you wish to drop out, please contact the head administrator. All the best, The Tribute Training Administration of District Two I smiled to myself, finally opening the door and getting out of my room. It was about time I'd done it. With Dad and Mom... gone, and Levica deciding to be off on her own, it was me and Robin. Just us. I told Robin to head to school without me, and told her that I'd come home with a surprise. She went along, no questions. That helped a lot. I headed outside and locked the door behind me, walking down the block to reach the main pathways. It was only a short walk from there, and within fifteen minutes of leaving the house I was there. Out of all the buildings in the district, the mayor's house and the "festival" stage were probably the only nicer buildings. The festival stage was only used for the reaping unless we were really lucky, but they kept it in tip top shape all year. The building had a fresh coat of white paint, with a banner overhead the sliding doors, it was crimson red with gold letters reading " 13 Y/O Careers Joining Day - Welcome " I took one deep breath before strutting in. It was pretty easy to navigate, and the desk assistant helped initially direct me in the right direction. I entered into a well-lit room that had a somewhat sci-fi feel to it, with a podium in the front. There was an adult tom behind it, who seemed to be the director and looked quite professional. With a minor tail motion he directed me to sit besides the other female trainee, a brown she-cat with dark brown and white markings. The director cleared his throat, and gave a bit of a lengthy speech if I'm being honest. All about how it was such an honor to be there, thanks for coming, his name was Tsusar Caksu, but just to call him director Tsusar. After that, he asked us all to state out names. " Sortif Belign " " Serval Mur " " Rowan Eaglefern " Gotta be honest, that Rowan seemed kinda annoyed liked somebody dragged her out of bed to be there. I mean, it kinda was an honor to be there. But, who am I to judge. Was my turn next, anyway. <~?~> <~?~> This was super fun! I'll be updating at least once a week, hopefully every Monday and Friday. This was a day late though, sorry bout that qwq. Anywho, it may be a bit confusing at first, but a lot of this will integrate into future rounds (hopefully, if all goes well), but if it doesn't, then this will remain purely fanfiction. Well, all I'll say is- Fii atent la indicii :)
