She now lives on a different planet visits earth occasionally by flying. Her wings are made of the inside of a lava amp, bubbles and all, and are useful for fashion as well as flying. Her birthmarks around her eyes are part of her style, and she never even thinks about them. They glow at night and add some sparkle to her life. Her everyday accessory is her planet and star rotating + floating crown, and has her planet included. Her crystals above her ears were put there when she got her powers, and help her teleport to earth. She is very smart and kind, but prefers to keep to herself, but her aura attracts people, making her very popular, although she doesn't let that go to her head. ------------------------?About Gilbert?------------------------- Gilbert lives in Las Vegas where he plays Go Fish (where you can bet and win real fish) almost every day with the other cats, but he wins almost every time. He might look tough (and he is) but he is also very smart and has a great strategy. And no, don't ask what it is unless you want to be disappointed. He is solitary and likes to be ALONE, with no one unless it is a card game. He reads in his spare time, but mainly strategy or historical books. He wears his fire fan crown every day, and it has become his signature look. He can pick up a new trick in a day or less, and practices every trick he's ever know in his spare time. He is real tough, but won't hesitate to lend a helping hand (unless it's in Go Fish). ------------------------❤About Beryl❤--------------------------- Beryl is an extremely outgoing cat who loves to meet new people at the beach. She always makes a new friend and her happy nature makes them get involved in her beach cleanups. She loves to swim and makes friends with all the sea creatures because she is so gentle. The reason she hosts cleanups is to save the sharks, because she feels like it's our duty to clean up what we did to make the ocean dirty. She is very kind and loves to hang out with people. She'd rather be with a large group then by herself, and people around her love to be with her! Her necklace, shark sunglasses, shark tattoo, and sailor hat seem odd at first, but she pulls it off. She believes that you should be yourself, and isn't afraid to tell people that she is lesbian. People often love her more for that. She will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS help anyone or anything injured, and when a pet or random animal dies, people always ask her to hold their funerals. She is never to busy for the beach and will keep working until the worlds oceans are clean. ok, a brief name history: astra means star in latin, gilbert...means gilbert, and beryl is a pale green, blue, or yellow gemstone. i picked those names because they jumped out at me, and gilbert just popped into my head. i really enjoyed drawing these characters, ESPECIALLY beryl, because that was my absolute favorite theme, seeing as i love sharks and want to be a marine biologest. i had a great time, and even if i don't win, i am happy to have been a part of this and had fun. good luck everyone!
