Ernest shivered hard as a slight breeze caressed his cheek. Frowning, he rubbed his arms trying to ignore all the stares he was getting. He knew why- it was summer, he was wearing a sweater, and he was still cold. He was at a beach for heavens sake! He sighed longingly for heat. I mean, it could also be because he was wearing an awful lot of purple, but can anyone really blame him for liking it? It’s the color of royals! Ernest had developed an illness called hypothyroidism when he’d turned six. He’d been trying to combat it his whole life. (Mostly with sweaters. I mean- who doesn’t love sweaters?) He hates looking so out of place. He’ll often buy ice-cream so he won’t look too out of place in the summer. But most of all, he doesn’t want to back inside. It’s warmer, but when he’s inside, with a huge crowd of people, and walls all around him... he tends to get anxious. {To be continued...} Well that got dark. Should I continue it?
