clouds the sky is covered overthrown the puffy li'l invaders a merry sort of pink i can see them i do see them the clouds the same clouds from a million years ago are now these clouds that hem the sky always on the edge of our view watching waiting just being because they're clouds clouds that are gorgeous some draped in violet others a dreary gray a sun-kissed cloud makes a rare sighting but not unheard of i see clouds for what they are wisps tastes of the world beyond the sky of a world filled with clouds with beauty and even the birds don't fly too high for fear they would touch the clouds and be overwhelmed by the sheer cloudiness of the clouds so they stay low ever circling never once touching the clouds even if they look like cotton candy yes especially then because they're still clouds just wearing different robes some will say clouds are water molecules waiting to fall but rain is just clouds crying crying because there will be no beautiful sunset because they're dressed in gray crying because it's a funeral of and for clouds and storms are just clouds having tantrums showing off being clouds to touch a cloud would be to touch life itself i think i could be wrong but it's a cloud so i expect greatness and i'm never disappointed these are not clouds they're the most wonderful part of the sky nightly spectacles in which the clouds have a fashion show what more to ask for a final farewell to a dying sun a sacred ritual in which there are clouds a funeral pyre alight with the hopes and dreams of us some will say clouds are the dandelion fluff we wish on sustained by our belief say that rain is wishes completed that storms are selfish clouds wishing for themselves and that morning dew are the tears of relief of the clouds but some will say clouds are wisps of fantasy and they're absolutely right
