Hello, and welcome to my 100 followers MAP! I just want to say THANK YOU for triple digits, it just BLOWS MY MIND that I could even get this much. I decided to do a MAP to celebrate, so I chose one of my new top 10 favorite songs, Way Less Sad, by AJR. Hope you enjoy! Timing be off lil bit Before you click the flag, I'm going to clear a few possible questions some may have. -------------------------------Questions------------------------------------ -What is a MAP? A MAP is a Multi-Animator-Project, where where an audio (usually a song, but not always) is split up into parts, and several (Multi) people (Animator) animate the audio clip they were assigned to, and the MAP creator then slaps it all together into one complete animation (Project). It's a great way to make friends, and work together as well! -How do I join a MAP? You just ask in the comments! Just be aware that not all MAPs are 100% open, there may be certain requirements in order to get a part, or other things (see below) -Are there rules for a MAP? It highly depends on the MAP creators' preference. This MAP WILL have a few rules, but they shouldn't be too hard to follow for beginners, I hope. But, if there are any rules for one, generally you need to have been on scratch for a certain period of time, have links to two of your animations/previous MAP parts, etc. ------------------------Rules & Instructions----------------------------- -The first rule I hope isn't too complicated. SINCE I am horrible at perfect timing with MAP parts, I am thinking of SILENTLY playing the separated MAP parts whilst playing the FULL SONG (the one playing in the project), making the audio smoother. The rule, anyways, is not to rely on the audio 100%, alongside starting with (When I receive [part no.]), and ending with (Broadcast [Next part no.]), that way the finished product can be smoother and less reliable via the music parts (I hope I used via right LOL). -The next rule is to try to keep the entire MAP part in ONE SPRITE. It would probably decrease lag, and also make it simpler for me to backpack/export and put into the final finished MAP. This also means don't use backdrops. -The third rule is to use shortcuts when possible. Got a repetitive chunk of code? USE 'MY BLOCKS' FOR IT! This way you can use as little blocks as possible, therefor reducing lag AND making less of a chance of maximum data limit (which I believe is 5 or 10 MB). Also try not to use effects or clones if possible, thank you. -------------------------------Side Notes---------------------------------- -TAKE YOUR TIME! I'm not rushing you, just try your hardest not to procrastinate, unless you're REALLY busy, but if you don't feel motivated, please turn back in your part.
