1. how are you? Fine, but overworked (and some of that is my fault X'D) 2. what kind of art do you enjoy doing? Lots of different kinds, but usually traditional drawing/sketching/doodling :) 3. what is you favorite medium? P e n c i l 4. who is your favorite artist? I have way too many; let's just say vocal-synth illustrators in general ;) (both official and not) 5. where do you get your inspiration? People who's art that I like, already existing characters, sometimes food or Youtube, random people on Twitter, my friends, nature, etc. (basically everything) 6. what do you like to create? I usually draw characters (*cough* V o c a l o i d s but especially L e n) and when I'm not drawing them, random stuff in nature (plants, ocean-related stuff, birds and other animals, etc.). 7. when have you started doing art? I don't even remember- Probably since the time I could first use a pen/pencil correctly, I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (As for classes, I started taking them in first grade) 8. are you planning/doing art for a career? Probably, if I end up not becoming the hundred other things that I also want to be XD 9. do you post art here? Not really 10. are you interested in art history? Not much tbh, though it can be interesting sometimes. 11. do you go to any classes for art? Currently not 12. list 5 of your inspirations. it can be anyone! *picks randomly* Starcircuits (aka Indie; Twitter and other platforms) Pinocchio-P (Vocaloid producer) YMD_ichi (on Twitter) △○□× (aka miwasiba/miwashiba; Vocaloid illustrator/producer) yosiki/yoshiki (on multiple platforms, idk) 13. do you ever get burnt out? if so, how do you deal with it? Very rarely since I constantly have an overwhelming amount of inspiration, but physically, yes ;w; My arm/hand gets tired a lot lol 14. what supplies do you use to draw? Depends on what I'm drawing but here are some random ones: -Pencil and eraser -Pentel Japanese brush sign pen -Ohuhu alcohol markers -STAEDTLER water-base markers -Gel pens (usually only white, though) -Prismacolor colored pencils 15. do you like painting? Yeah :D 16. do you sell your artwork? No 17. what do you like to listen to while you draw? Vocaloid and/or other songs sung by singing synthesisers ;) 18. what's the hardest thing in art for you? Currently, perspective and realism in humans. 19. what skill are you learning/want to learn? Realism when drawing humans, water, better perspective/proportions/anatomy, better expressions, composition, how to keep your paper clean when erasing (p a i n), etc. 20. do you put filters over your artwork? Nah 21. does your family support you and your art? Yup! ^_^ 22. do you consider yourself as a beginner? Based on people's reactions to some of my stuff and considering how long I've been practicing, uh...definitely not, but I'm nowhere near professional either XD 23. what is a rule you always go by when creating art? Have fun, don't overthink things, don't force yourself to do things that you won't genuinely enjoy, and don't let yourself or others put you down. You don't necessarily have to be good at art to like it anyway :) 24. do you like drawing backgrounds? Not usually :P 25. can someone commission you? if so, put details! No...not yet, at least ( °ᴗ ^) 26. what is the most important part of art? (color, form, etc.) Whether you actually enjoy what you're doing or not. Though if you want a more technical answer, fine :P Probably composition, proportions, and/or your color choice(s)/theme (if any). 27. do you like to shade? Yes, for the most part. 28. if you were to give a young artist a piece of advice, what would it be? Don't be afraid of (constructive) criticism and be honest with yourself. Don't put yourself up too high, but not too low either. If you're not at the skill level you want to be, don't stress about it too much. Skills like this usually take time to develop- a l o n g time. Be patient and let yourself make mistakes here and there; nothing you make has to be "perfect" and it can actually help! Find people or things that inspire you and keep them in mind, or make a list. Whenever you have an art idea but don't have the time to do it at the moment, write it down somewhere or do a simple version of it, if possible. Good ideas don't come easily to everyone and it's important to have them when needed. ;) Have people to look up to, but don't compare yourself to others too much or harshly (the same thing goes the other way around too). If you constantly tell yourself that there are so many people that are "better" than you, you won't be able to improve. The only person you can accurately compare yourself to is you. 29. as an artist, where do you see yourself in 2 years? Probably having at least a bit more knowledge in animation, as well as still having a bunch of art ideas from 6th grade never done XD 30. last question! do you genuinely enjoy making art? Of course, it's one of my favorite things to do and I'm not planning on stopping anytime soon ;D
Ghsjlkdjs sorry for making basically no projects ever XD It's just that Scratch isn't my top priority (especially since this wasn't originally made to be a personal account for my random stuff at first) and I barely have any time to make actual projects with c o d i n g sooo yeah :P I do have a few ideas that I'm working on but don't count on them being done anytime soon lol The drawing is fanart of the song "Becoming Pigs Yeah Yeah" by Neru featuring Kagamine Len. It's really catchy and one of my favorite Neru songs :D (though it does have some...questionable lyrics here and there, just a disclaimer lol) I recorded the instrumental of the song on my chromebook which is why the sound quality is terrible, but what makes it even worse is that Scratch was being laggy while I was recording it, so every few seconds a small bit of the song keeps restarting for a moment, then continues normally as if nothing is wrong. I decided to keep it anyway just 'cuz it's funny :PP Supplies used (if you're curious): -Pencil/eraser (obviously) -Pentel Japanese brush sign pen (I love them so much slklskdkjs) -Ohuhu alcohol markers -White gel pen
